The event, which is being hosted by Salford Innovation Forum and Oxford Innovation Space, will see a number of high-profile investors from across the UK come together to offer advice and support to early-stage businesses.
The event will offer a unique opportunity for entrepreneurs to get first-hand advice from some of the UK’s most successful tech investors and network with like-minded individuals.

4:00 p.m. – 4:40 p.m. – Keynote from Dominic McGregor, Founding Partner at Fearless Adventures.
4:40 p.m. – 5:10 p.m. – Learning from experienced investors: an expert panel of investors shares practical advice on fundraising and scaling tech companies.
5:10 p.m. – 5.30 p.m. – The start-up/scale-up eco-system of Salford: a speech from Paul Dainty, Mayor of Salford City, on the institutions and support structures that exist to support the enterprise eco-system of Salford Innovation District.

Founding Partner at Fearless Adventures
From dropping out of University to taking Social Chain to the public markets in 6 years, Dom has experience in navigating the challenges that come with building a successful business. As co-founder and COO of Social Chain, Dom oversaw the phenomenal rise of the business, expanding through investments and acquisitions across EMEA and North America, culminating in a public market listing.
Richard Cooper
Managing Director of Oxford Innovation Finance
Richard, is the Managing Director of OION Ltd. He has been working with early-stage companies for the past twenty years, both in the UK and Australia, in both a funding and business advisory capacity.
Paul Dennett
City Mayor of Salford
Paul was elected Councillor for Langworthy in 2012 and held the Strategic Assistant Mayor position until 2016 focusing on equalities, cohesion, technology, change, urban transformation, innovation, prosperity, growth and workforce.
